God Bless you two. I was enjoying your Revelation Redpill and I thought that I would add some stuff. You probably already know this but it was a a-hah moment for me. Then my computer locked up.
Anyhow, I no longer mark my Bible up with notes. I have one filled with notes and that’s enough. But I will print out what I am studying. Like the Olivet conversation about the End of the Age. I printed it out from Matthew Mark and Luke and stapled them together. Then I looked up all the uses of “earth,” “land’” or “heaven” in it. I marked them out on the printouts. Then I was wondering what was the “Abomination of Desolation” because the gospels don’t explain it. But Jesus does say that it was in Daniel. So, I looked in there. I went to chapter 8, because I had read chapters seven and eight the morning before, but I fell asleep while reading chapter 8. So, re-reading it I saw my answer. It is below, what do you think?
The Abomination of Desecration in Daniel
The secret of the Abomination of Desecration that Jesus speaks of in the Gospels has a very simple explanation.
It is in Daniel, in the word.
Daniel 8:13 7 14
Then I heard two of the holy ones talking to each other. One of them said , “How log will the events of this vision last? How long will the rebellion that causes desecration stop the holy sacrifices? How long will the Temple and heaven’s armies be trampled on?
14.) The other replied, “ It will take twenty-three hundred evenings and mornings then the Temple will be restored.”
The previous verses had described how the Greek king had desecrated the temple, “destroying it, and ending the daily sacrifices. In Josephus he records how John Levi had ended the daily sacrifices and Titus, a Roman destroyed the Temple. Obviously, the desecration is an “unclean” person infiltrating the temple and stopping the sacrifices, whether a Jew by birth John Levi, or Roman or Greek armies.
