Two Greats Taken in 2 Days: Carman & Rush… A Dedication By Resistance Chicks

Today, one of the greatest radio hosts who ever lived went home to be with the Lord, #RIPRush Limbaugh. Yesterday, one of our greatest Christian music heroes of all time went home to be with Jesus. If you grew up as a Christian youth in the 80’s and 90’s, #Carmen likely changed your life, as he did mine. I remember going to countless concerts, where he never charged, only took an offering. A friend of mine from school accepted Jesus as her savior at one such concert. Even to this day when I am battling the devil I can be seen singing the song The Champion, with fervor and tears coming down my face, telling the devil: JESUS IS THE CHAMPION! Today, I promise you the music in heaven is unlike anything heard before! I praise God for this man’s life, he can never be replaced. His music will go on changing lives for decades to come!

I’m not sure what is going on, but it seems big enough to stop, take note and ask the Lord what He’s up to. There is a scripture that says the Lord takes the Righteous to spare them from the things to come. I truly believe we are stepping into one of the greatest revivals the world has ever seen, these men below paved the way, but for whatever reason God saw fit that their deaths would accomplish far more than their lives, for the revival before us. #RIPCARMAN #rushlimbaugh
