About Ibn:
Champion of Faith: The Journey of Ibn Ali, From Boxing Rings to Kingdom Realms”
Born into the legendary Ali family, Ibn Ali carries a legacy etched in both athletic prowess and spiritual depth. Nephew to Muhammad Ali, the greatest boxer to have ever lived, Ibn Ali was destined for greatness. This path was foretold even before his birth, as the Holy Spirit revealed to his mother, a woman of profound faith, that her son would be a vessel for God’s glory.
Embracing his family’s boxing legacy, Ibn Ali entered the professional ring, not merely to win titles but to bring restoration and honor to his lineage. His journey in the sport was marked by remarkable success, including reigning as the former Cruiser Weight Champion. However, the gloves and glory were just a part of a larger calling.
Ibn Ali’s true destiny unfolded as he embraced his role as a 5-fold Apostolic Leader. Inspired by the teachings of Myles Monroe , he delved deep into understanding the Kingdom of God. He embodies the essence of Matthew 6:33, living a life that exemplifies seeking God’s kingdom and righteousness, with the belief that all else follows.
His message is one of empowerment and possibility. Through his dynamic speaking engagements, Ibn Ali inspires others to step into their God-appointed callings. His heart beats for restoration — seeing individuals walk in the fullness of their potential and faith. As a speaker, he brings the same intensity and passion that he once brought to the boxing ring, now fighting the good fight of faith.
With a life story that weaves through the realms of sports, faith, and leadership, Ibn Ali stands as a testament to the power of legacy, faith, and divine calling. His speaking platform is not just a stage but a battleground for transformation and empowerment in the Kingdom of God. Let’s get ready to rumble in this Kingdom Fight, where, in the arena of faith, all things are indeed possible.
Testimony:
My mother said, “Ibn Ali is an anointed man of God born with a purpose and a call on his life to
lift the name of JESUS!!!! Before I knew I was pregnant The Lord spoke to me and said you are
pregnant, it’s a boy, I am going to use him for my glory!! I said YES LORD, I give him back to
YOU and I pondered these words in my heart!!! Today Ibn has a heart for GOD and is
passionate about taking the gospel to the uttermost parts of the earth.”
God knew who I was before I even took my first breath of life. He said, I was wonderfully and
powerfully created, but in my mind which is where all great battles are fought, I wrestled with
that truth. I looked for proof, but many times found none. Just like in my fight against Jeff Fox in
Martinsburg, West Virginia when the world looked as I received an over-the-top right hand and
saw my mouth piece fly into the crowd; they stood to their feet with anticipation of watching me
fall. The world sometimes gains great enjoyment of watching a fellow man fall to the canvas,
but truly admire a man who can take a blow and somehow find the courage and strength to
battle on. It would have been a great for the world to see if on that day they saw my face buried
in the canvas floor. Then came another right hook to the jaw and I watched the world start to
vanish from my sight, my knees begin to crumble, and another blazing right hook and I heard
the roar of the crowd cheer for me to fall. Then somewhere I heard a voice that said, you are
great, you are the child of the most-high God and the only word I could think to say, “Jesus.”
Not like how the world was looking out as I received these blows and say the name as a cuss
word in amazement, but the name Jesus that gave me strength. I kept saying the name Jesus,
holy spirit in my mind. Then from the innermost part of my being that defies all logic I felt a
renewing of strength. The fight was on Easter Sunday, Resurrection Sunday and I was truly
resurrected with unnatural strength. In all logic I should have hit the canvas. Jeff Fox thought
he was fighting a man that day and if that was all he was fighting he would have won, but he
was fighting the human spirit, that comes from God. It’s the gift that lies dormant in all men, but
when called upon brings salvation, strength and a renewing of mind and spirit. As I said the
name of Jesus, Jesus in my mind I could feel his strength flow through my arms and with
shaken knees, a cloudy mind I delivered two left jabs, and I watched as Jeff’s eyes began to
glaze and then I followed through with a holy spirit filled straight right. Sometimes in life you
must call on the power of God to give you strength to carry on the fight. Jeff fell to the canvas.
Jeff also found the inner strength to carry on the fight, I know not if he called on God or from a
spirit that lives deep within him that gave him the will to carry on, but he rose from the canvas
and wanted to continue. This was the 6th round of the fight. Jeff came at me, and I delivered
blow after blow, and he kept coming. It was like history was repeating itself from the fight
between my Uncle Muhammad Ali and Chuck Webner in 1975. The fight that inspired Sylvester
Stallone to write the movie Rocky. I hit him with a swift and powerful left and he again fell to
the Canvas. I heard it said once you can measure the size of a man, but you cannot measure
the size of the fight in the man. God said we were wonderfully and powerfully created. We have
power that comes from a place within us that can only be divinely inspired, and it is this fight that
Jeff showed me as he again rose from the canvas. We will all face a time when we will get
knocked down, but it’s finding that inner strength that will determine if you stay there. He had
that fight in him, but so did I. It was a battle between two great warriors. In the ring this was my
greatest and most challenging opponent, but I knew I would win not because of my might, but
the might he gave me to carry on. The final blow came, and Jeff fell for the 3rd time in the sixth
round, and I walked away victorious because of the inner strength that can only come from our
creator.
I was a shy, quite fat teenager. Kids would pick on me because of my weight. Kids can be very
cruel. I was a joke. How could I ever live up to my mom’s vision and purpose. I just wanted to
fit in and be like the other kids, but I never did so I spent much time alone with God in prayer
and scripture. I was called out from the normal teenage crowd because of my physical
appearance, but God was working on the inner beauty while I was the ugly duck in the crowd.
He was preparing me and I did not comprehend the light in the midst of the cruel darkness of
bitter words. I was being looked at and counted out before I ever entered the ring by my peers.
I may have been down, but I have never been out in or out of the ring. The battle that wages
inside of my mind over the truth of my mother’s words is the battle that we will all face. I heard
it many times in my head and felt the doubt of the enemies blows and many times I thought I
would fall, but from inside me came a desire to live up to the greatness of my high calling that
my mother placed on my life, and I believe is place in every human. It’s the potential to be great
of fall to lowest form of animal that we must choose. We must choose the story we hear. In the
midst of the battle do you believe you are destined to be great. As my uncle aways spoke, “I am
the greatest,” because he was speaking it into existence and so he was great. It is far greater to
believe in mighty power of God, even though painted by failure…. Then align your image of
yourself with the poor spirits who no pain, because they will always live in darkness and will
never comprehend victory or defeat because of fear to enter the ring of life. It is the inner voice
that drives a man to either greatness or total defeat. Who are you listening to and why? Are
you listening to a God who says you are Great, powerful, and possible of every positive
imagination or the voice that says you are fat, ugly and not worthy of your calling. My mother
placed a calling on my life when she gave me to God, but I’m here standing in the arena of the
fight to tell you God has called all his children to greatness. Fight the good fight of faith for you
are powerfully and wonderfully created by a God who loves you so much he sent his son to die on a cross for you so you can live in greatness for all eternity. Let’s fight!
