Her website says it best “Public health officials have blocked safe, inexpensive drugs that could control Covid-19, including ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, fluvoxamine and others. They have failed even to advise basic preventatives like Vitamin D3, C, zinc and quercetin. The overemphasis on vaccines must give way to early treatment.” Mary Beth dives deep to tell the miraculous stories of Covid survivors who have been ripped from the jaws of death due to medical malpractice, along with the heartbreaking stories of families denied the opportunity to try proven, life saving treatments- like those created by Dr. Paul Marik and Pierre Kory: founders of the life saving FLCCC. Mary Beth Pfeiffer has been an award winning journalist and investigative reporter for the past three decades. She is the author of Lyme: The First Epidemic of Climate Change and Crazy in America: The Hidden Tragedy of Our Criminalized Mentally Ill. The book is a critically acclaimed look at treatment of the mentally ill in prisons and jails in the United States.

Mary Beth credits her deep dive into Lyme Disease, especially chronic Lyme Disease, as her initial motivating factor that persuaded her to look into Covid-19 early treatments such as hydroxychloroquine. She already had many contacts in the Lyme disease world who connected her with studies that would prove there were ways to get through this novel coronavirus. She had discovered through earlier reporting that the “ways in which scientific journals frame a story” can be misleading at best- so she would go straight to interviewing doctors and patients, instead of relying solely on medical journals. She calls Covid-19 “Lyme Disease on steroids” and began reporting on Hydroxychloroquine, in March of 2020; she remembers being quite excited after reading the initial trials. Mary Beth had previously published in Forbes and Scientific American but wasn’t sure they were interested in following the story of early treatment in the way she was. She shopped her stories around to closed doors until one opened, Trial Site News and then another, RESCUE . There was one early treatment doctor that Pfeiffer already had a close relationship with due to her Lyme Disease reporting and that was Dr. Richard Horowitz, who now has his own Covid-19 protocol based on the similarities between Lyme and Covid, which includes Ivermectin. Mary Beth wrote her first article about Ivermectin in October of 2020 and credits her colleagues and the physicians at Trialsite News for introducing her to this wonder drug. She also chronicled Dr. Peter McCullough’s own battle with Covid and his use of ivermectin.

Pfeiffer’s journalism was especially helpful when the FDA ran a full-on disinformation campaign at the height of the Delta wave, calling all ivermectin “horse paste,” and telling the public not to take the only thing that was keeping people out of the hospitals. At one point, the Mississippi Department of Health had reported that 70% of the calls to poison control were from animal ivermectin overdoses, when in reality they were merely 2% of their calls. The New York Times and Washington Post spread this disinformation around the world, (or as far as their small readership actually goes). Even after the truth came out, (thanks in part to reporting by Mary Beth) she tells us that a mere two weeks after their own retractions, these same publications published the same false narrative, “This shows how these untrue facts stay in the ether.”

We asked the queen of early-treatment reporting if she has heard of any adverse reactions to human grade Ivermectin during this pandemic- her answer: not one single case. On the contrary, she makes a specialty of reporting on the heroic stories where Ivermectin saved lives. The first case she reported on was Dr. Bruce Boros, who treated a very large man in the hospital who could not breathe. Dr. Boros instructed the patient how to take the Ivermectin by his bedside on a table, all on his own. The result? He was out of the hospital in roughly 24 hrs. Dr Boros is also known as the doctor who busted legendary actor Louise Gossett Jr. out of the hospital where he was left just to die. Gossett Jr. was eighty-four years old, with significant co-morbidities, getting sicker by the hour; the deadly inflammatory phase of COVID was blooming in his lungs. He credits Dr. Boros with saving his life. Gossett Jr. was treated with six, 3mg pills the first day and eight, 3mg pills the next, along with zinc and an antibiotic.

The question remains: if this drug has such a well founded safety record, why is it so vilified? Her answer came after much soul searching- with a sigh she admits, “it has to be the vaccine… The narrative is framed in such a way that it has been deceptive- we have been deceived.” Mary Beth says that when it comes to FDA approved early treatment, hospitals get large kickbacks of $3,000 per treatment and 20% bonuses for using the only one that is promoted, Remdesivir. The Lancet now says that Remdesivir has “no clinical value,” and the WHO recommends against it….

says Mary Beth when asked why hospitals are still using this kidney destroying drug.

One of the most heart warming and encouraging stories Mrs. Pfeiffer has had the privilege of reporting on is the successful treatment of Mr. Sun Ng. He was given ivermectin after his family hired a lawyer to take his case before a judge, who ultimately ruled in favor of allowing the use of ivermectin for Mr. Ng.

“Sun Ng, a retired contractor from Hong Kong, traveled to Illinois to celebrate his only granddaughter’s first birthday. He got Covid and was near death in a Chicago-area hospital. All other options were exhausted, but the hospital refused to give Mr. Ng a generic, FDA-approved drug with an extraordinary safety record that a doctor believed could safe his life. Finally, a judge asked the right question about Ivermectin. ‘What’s the downside?’ Put another way: If a man is dying of covid in an ICU and all else has been tried, why not order a hospital to give a safe, last-ditch drug?
Mr. Ng was treated with the FLCCC protocol. Mary Beth reported “The hospital ultimately stepped aside. Dr. Alan Bain, an internist, administered a five-day course of 24 milligrams of ivermectin, from November 8 through November 12.”

After being given a 10% chance of survival, this is a recent photo of Mr. Ng who was left for dead by a Chicago based hospital and is now living life enjoying his grandchildren. *Update, Mary Beth texted with the Ng family about a week ago and are pleased to report that Sun is getting stronger everyday.
